Researchers have been studying the effects of meditation on the brain for decades, and have come to some important conclusions that may offer further motivation and inspiration for regular—and certainly for aspiring—practitioners of this time-honored healing art.

The Power of “Cortical Folding” aka “Gyrification”

In terms of brain health, what exactly is “cortical folding” or “gyrification” and how does it increase your mental capacity? These questions may seem to address complex issues best left to neuroscience, except for one simple practice that directly relates to them: meditation. Researchers have been studying the effects of meditation on the brain for decades, and have come to some important conclusions that may offer further motivation and inspiration for regular—and certainly for aspiring—practitioners of this time-honored healing art.

Published Studies Prove Numerous Benefits of Meditation

Over the years, published research has demonstrated that the practice of regular meditation can increase brain density, boost connections between neurons, decrease symptoms of depression and anxiety, provide clarity of thought, and increase positive mood endorphins. Other published studies have shown meditation can improve physical functioning, decrease chronic disease risks, and enhance overall quality of life. These studies demonstrate that regular meditation effectively supports mental, emotional and physical health in numerous tangible ways. In building upon this strong body of evidence, researchers are continuing to deepen our understanding of the profound and inspirational benefits of regular meditation practice in everyday life.

UCLA Researchers Uncover New Benefits of Meditation for the Brain

Most recently, neuroscientists at UCLA have shown another fascinating neural effect of regular meditation: the ability to increase “cortical gyrification” of the brain. Cortical gyrification refers to the folding of the cerebral cortex – a function that allows the brain to process information faster. The cerebral cortex is the outermost layer of neural tissue in the brain and serves an important role in controlling memory, consciousness, thought processing, decision making, attention, and awareness. During cortical gyrification, the tissues of the cerebral cortex fold, creating indented fissures and “creases” called sulci and gyri. The sulci and gyri increase neural processing and neurotransmitter communication. In this way, increased gyrification enhances the brain’s capacity for computing information, maintaining focus and attention, creating and retrieving memory, processing logic, and forming decisions.

The neuroscientists at UCLA compared meditators of different experience levels to people who never meditated. In those who meditated, they found significant increases in cortical folding across a wide area of the brain responsible for numerous functions beyond rapid information processing and retrieval. Additional areas of the brain markedly affected by meditation involve emotional and mental health capacities, influencing processes of emotional control, heightened awareness, and introspection. This falls directly in line with some of the more noticeable results of regular meditation, which often include increased compassion for one’s self and others, enhanced self awareness and introspection, and greater emotional stability.

Researchers also found significant increases in cortical gyrification among more experienced practitioners. In other words, the longer a person had been practicing regular meditation, the greater the beneficial changes in their brain.

Promotes Long Term Health

As a holistic physician and meditation practitioner with over 25 years of experience, I have always strongly believed in the mental and emotional benefits of regular mindful meditation practice. And the physical payoffs are equally impressive. We all know that reducing stress can dramatically improve health on a number of levels. The beneficial effects of regular mindful meditation are shown to protect against and reverse DNA (telomere) damage, boost immune function, reduce cardiovascular disease risks, decrease inflammation, improve outcomes in cancer, reduce side effects of conventional treatment, and increase vital energy and physical capacity.

As regular meditation practice becomes better understood and more widely practiced, more and more doctors and health practitioners are recommending these ancient disciplines to their patients. If you are a health provider, meditation can help you become a better healer and clinician, increasing your diagnostic and therapeutic skills significantly, and allowing you to connect in more meaningful ways with your patients and community. If you are looking for some extra healing energy to improve your own health, regular meditation can provide just the solution.

As demonstrated in the UCLA study, meditation is more effective when practiced regularly. Even just ten minutes a day can offer significant and noticeable benefits over a short period of time. Below, I’ve outlined some tips on basic meditation practice for beginners to get started.

Tips for Getting Started

While there are countless styles of meditation practice, one of the most profound is the ancient Tibetan practice of Shamatha meditation. Shamatha means “calm abiding” in Sanskrit. It is intended to help people access their mind’s natural state of tranquility and clarity. The technique involves focusing the breath on a specific object, and letting go of all other thoughts as attention is consistently trained on the process of breathing.

Find a quiet, comfortable place to sit, and pick a small object such as a rock to place on the ground in front of you. Focus your eyes and your breathing on the rock, and as thoughts inevitably arise, simply acknowledge and then release them, letting them slip away with each out-breath. When your mind wanders off, gently bring your attention back to your breathing and the rock, visualizing each inhalation and exhalation going to and from the rock.

Exponential Benefits

As you become more practiced at meditation, you will likely notice significant improvements in your energy, health and mental/emotional balance. You may find that as distractions and obscurities are peeled away during mindful meditation practice, the space between thoughts becomes greater and more profound. As we slowly turn down the constant chatter of our minds, we can begin to access deeper aspects of consciousness for growth and healing. This peeling process can make room for your true inner nature of love, compassion, peace and tranquility to arise and expand naturally, benefiting yourself and those around you exponentially.

To me, one of the most beautiful and profound aspects of meditation is that this process of growth and unfolding (as well as cortical folding) can continue throughout our lives. After all, we can never have too much love, compassion, and clarity.

I recently attended the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physician’s 2012 Convention (OncANP) in Carefree, Arizona, where I presented breakthrough research to over 300 integrative Naturopathic oncologists. My lecture was on Galectin-3 as a new culprit biomarker for cancer and numerous life-threatening diseases. I also shared research on the critical role of Modified Citrus Pectin (MCP) as the foremost Galectin-3 blocker and an important nutritional adjunct for supporting long term health.

OncANP is a naturopathic organization whose members specialize in the treatment of cancer. A major focus of the association is to provide members with advanced training in the rapidly expanding field of naturopathic oncology, in order to improve quality of care and patient outcome.

It’s truly rewarding to share cutting edge research with the medical community, demonstrating Galectin-3’s role as a chronic disease culprit, and Modified Citrus Pectin’s ability to promote health and prevent disease. Modified Citrus Pectin offers a number of remarkable health benefits, which include binding and blocking excess Galectin-3 molecules throughout the body.

Role of Galectin-3 Molecules
Galectin-3 is produced naturally in the body, but new research proves that elevated levels can lead to serious health conditions like heart disease, chronic inflammation, fibrosis, metastatic cancer and organ failure. In cancer, Galectin-3 promotes tumor growth and metastasis by acting as a sticky cell surface protein allowing malignant cells to aggregate, proliferate, attract blood vessel formation and metastasize.

By binding to and blocking excess Galectin-3 molecules, Modified Citrus Pectin disables this rogue protein. In this way, Modified Citrus Pectin prevents Galectin-3 from fueling cancer and wreaking havoc throughout the body on cells, tissues and organs.

A new blood test that measures circulating levels of Galectin-3 as a risk factor in progressive heart failure is now approved by the FDA and covered by most health insurance. This test can also be used by practitioners help to determine risks of damage in other organs, including the liver, lungs, brain, kidneys, and others, as well as risk and progression of metastatic cancer.

MCP for Detoxification and Immunity
New peer-reviewed studies also demonstrate the ability of Modified Citrus Pectin to significantly enhance immune function, particularly cytotoxicity against cancer cells. Published clinical research demonstrates Modified Citrus Pectin also reduces dangerous heavy metals in the body. MCP is proven to remove lead, mercury, arsenic, and cadmium, without lowering levels of essential minerals. (When toxic body burden is elevated, I recommend a gentle, yet highly effective heavy metal detoxification program using Modified Citrus Pectin together with an in-depth phase two detox formula, which includes sulfured botanicals, antioxidants and nutrients to support the deeper removal of toxins from tissues and organs.)

Synergistic Effects of MCP with Poly-Botanical Formulas
Groundbreaking new research also demonstrates that Modified Citrus Pectin works synergistically to inhibit aggressive cancer cell behavior, when combined with two of my advanced poly-botanical formulas: one for breast health and one for prostate health. Both the breast formula and the prostate formula have been previously researched, with multiple published studies demonstrating their abilities to slow cancer growth and metastasis without side effects. This latest in vitro synergistic study has been accepted for publication in the journal, Integrative Cancer Therapies and was shared during my lecture. The findings are extremely promising, showing that MCP in combination with either the breast or prostate formula, significantly further inhibits the metastatic processes of adhesion and migration of breast and prostate cancer cells, in a dose-dependent manner.

Honokiol for Cancer, Antioxidant and Anxiety Support
I also shared research on the powerful botanical compound, Honokiol. A large body of published data shows that Honokiol offers multiple health benefits, predominantly anti-cancer, anti-oxidant, neuroprotective and anti-anxiety effects. Honokiol is extracted from the bark of the Magnolia officinalis tree and is safe to use with conventional cancer therapies. Research demonstrates that Honokiol actually works synergistically with some conventional cancer therapies. It also is also shown to work synergistically with Modified Citrus Pectin for increased anti-cancer support.

The field of integrative cancer care continues to expand with cutting edge research breakthroughs and therapeutic advancements. The groundbreaking data that I shared at the 2012 OncANP event, and during other integrative medical conferences, continues to establish Modified Citrus Pectin as an important adjunct in the prevention and treatment of many serious health conditions, for which current available therapies may be limited at best.

Galectin-3 may sound like the name of a planet out of “Star Trek,” but in truth, this biological protein can be much more ominous. I shed light on the subject of Galectin-3 and its role as a chronic disease culprit, in a recent lecture presented at the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP) 2012 Convention & Exposition. In this presentation, I shared breakthrough research demonstrating that the protein Galectin-3 is an active biomarker, and therapeutic target, for numerous life-threatening diseases. I also revealed how Modified Citrus Pectin (MCP) derived from citrus fruit peels, has the unique ability to bind and block Galectin-3 throughout the body – just one of MCP’s many essential health benefits.

This extensive body of research was presented to hundreds of naturopathic oncologists at the annual conference, and received excellent feedback from attendees. OncANP is one of the largest naturopathic oncology organizations, providing advanced training in naturopathic oncology to improve quality of care and patient outcome. It was truly rewarding to share cutting-edge information demonstrating Galectin-3 as a breakthrough biomarker, and highlighting Modified Citrus Pectin’s ability to promote health and prevent disease from multiple angles.

Galectin-3: The Rogue Molecule
Galectin-3 is a protein produced naturally by our bodies, but elevated levels can lead to chronic inflammation, fibrosis, heart disease, metastatic cancer and organ failure. By binding and blocking excess Galectin-3, Modified Citrus Pectin prevents this rogue molecule from wreaking havoc throughout the body.

In 2011, the FDA approved a simple blood test that measures circulating Galectin-3 levels. This test is approved by most health insurances as a tool for evaluating risks and prognosis of progressive heart failure. The test can also be used by doctors to determine Galectin-3 induced risk to the liver, lungs, brain, kidneys, and other organs, as well as risks of cancer progression and metastasis.

Versatile Health Benefits of MCP
MCP has been extensively researched and proven to reduce cancer proliferation and metastasis, predominantly through its unique ability to enter the circulation and bind to Galectin-3 receptors on the surface of cancer cells.

Recent studies also demonstrate that Modified Citrus Pectin significantly enhances immune function, and reduces Galectin-3 expression and disease severity in fibrosis-induced kidney injury. Furthermore, MCP is proven through multiple clinical studies to remove lead, mercury, arsenic, and cadmium from the body without reducing essential minerals.

I also shared new research showing that MCP, when combined with two of my advanced poly-botanical formulas, works synergistically to inhibit aggressive breast and prostate cancer cells. This study was presented at the last Experimental Biology meeting and is currently in press for publication. Researchers found that MCP, in combination with either the breast or prostate formula, further inhibits the metastatic processes of adhesion and migration of breast and prostate cancer cells.

These new discoveries demonstrate that Modified Citrus Pectin can potentially help address many serious health conditions which currently have limited treatment options.

Honokiol for Cancer and Anti-Anxiety Support
I concluded my presentation at OncANP by sharing research on the powerful and versatile botanical compound, Honokiol. Extensive data demonstrates that Honokiol provides numerous health benefits as an anti-cancer, anti-oxidant, anti-anxiety and neuro-protective agent. Honokiol is a powerful active compound derived from the Traditional Chinese botanical, Magnolia officinalis bark. Honokiol is safe to use with conventional cancer therapies, and has also been shown to work synergistically with Modified Citrus Pectin to increase anti-cancer support. For more information and published research on Modified Citrus Pectin and my unique poly-botanical formulas, visit www.dreliaz.org.

Basil

They needs warmth and regular watering and it can be tricky to grow in colder areas but will flourish in a pot in a sunny spot ( you can raise six or more plants in a small pot).

Basil in pots should be watered from the bottom – sit the container in a deep dish to create a shallow water bath.

You may find the plants become infested with whitefly or aphids and check them regularly. If the infestation isn’t too advanced you may be able to wash off the pests. Some gardeners recommend spraying with a mixture of dishwashing liquid and water

Parsley

Is used in large quantities and it needs plenty of feeding and regular watering to produce lush green leaves. If it gets too dry it’ll go to seed.

You can raise parsley from seed although germination takes a long time, more than a month – and can be patchy. If you’re buying seedlings look for small plants in individual cells. This will mean the roots are disturbed as little as possible when you plant them out.

On average there are about thirteen glands in a normal human body, with variations dependent on age and gender. One of the most important but generally less talked about glands is the thyroid. A very important gland, the thyroid’s purpose is imperative to good health and when it becomes dysfunctional, it can wreak havoc.

How can you prevent thyroid dysfunction? There are simple tests conducted by health testing centers that can spot thyroid dysfunction early enough to give you the chance to repair or treat it.

Where is the thyroid?

The thyroid gland is shaped like a butterfly and found in the lowermost frontal part of the neck.

What does it do?

This gland releases several hormones, two of which are of utmost importance – triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4). Why are these important? These hormones are responsible for the oxygenation of your cells and therefore in control of your metabolism. In conjunction with you pituitary gland, located at the base of your brain, the thyroid hormones affect many functions within the body including:

- Weight

- Metabolism

- Energy

What can go wrong with the thyroid?

Thyroid dysfunction presents itself in many ways and often goes untreated because the symptoms are so commonly associated with other maladies. Some of the more prominent dysfunctions are:

Hypothyroidism – This is when the gland is underactive and can present with symptoms like fatigue, weight gain and depression.

Hyperthyroidism – This is the opposite and the gland has become overactive. Symptoms presented can include fatigue, frequent bowl movements, heat intolerance and aggressive weight loss.

Goiter – This happens when the thyroid gland becomes enlarged. There are several diseases and nutritional deficiencies that can contribute to goiter.

Other issues that can surface as a result of a malfunctioning thyroid include irregular or frequent menstrual periods, nervousness or anxiety, exhaustion and weakness as well as an increase in heart rate.

To check if your thyroid gland may be the cause of any of these problems, all that is required is simples testing. Going to a health test center will give you the chance to discover exactly what problem you have and therefore better enable you to have it treated.

Little Known Facts About Thyroid Health & Effects

- The dysfunctional thyroid is particularly volatile during pregnancy and as such should be diagnosed before a woman gets pregnant and monitored carefully throughout.

- High cholesterol and high cholesterol that is unresponsive to medication can be the result of a dysfunctional thyroid.

- A dysfunctional thyroid can thwart your best weight loss efforts. If you are following a strict diet and exercise regimen with little or no positive results, your thyroid gland may be at fault.

- Infertility can be a result of a thyroid malfunction but most infertility tests do not include thyroid consideration.

- A decrease in sex drive can be directly linked to thyroid dysfunction. The only way to know is to have it tested.

- Too much salt and even too much fluoride can negatively affect thyroid functions.

Ready to take a leap into the public health sector? It’s as simple as signing up for an online public health program and putting the wheels in motion are not difficult at all.
Public health programs are just a few of hundreds of programs that are enjoying legitimacy online. The world is changing and how we educate ourselves is changing as well. No longer do we have to attend classes in person, no longer do we have to directly compete with classmates for attention – online education is your best bet when it comes to upgrading your professional portfolio.
If you’re interested in a career in the public health, don’t think that you need to be a medical professional or that you need to be in the medical industry at all. Public health comprises an abundance of job opportunities commensurate with an even larger abundance of niche qualifications. There’s room for everyone – accountants, administrative professionals, inventory managers, research specialists and marketing coordinators, just to name a few. This industry is in a constant state of evolution and with this evolution comes an array of job opportunities you can tap into.
What are the benefits to pursuing accreditation online?

If you are already gainfully employed, the thought of “going back to school” may seem harrowing at the very least. You’re probably thinking that you don’t have the time, too many existing obligations on your time and money and you’ve been out of the game too long to bear re-acclimatization. If you’re not already employed, you’re not even certain if going back to any sort of school environment might be right for you. Pursuing an online health public health program dissolves all of these concerns. It costs significantly less, the responsibilities are flexible, it’s not time-obstructive and you choose your pace. Working on this accreditation from the comfort of your home is an option you may have never explored, but it would be remiss of you not to do so now.

How do I know if a program is legitimate?

Like any other internet opportunity, education opportunities are subject to scams. As easy as it is to send an email, is how easy it is to set up a website that appears legitimate. Set up maliciously, these online learning centers offer invalid accreditation for fairly small sums of money – the paper trail is almost invisible and tracking down these parties after the fact is near impossible. It is important that you do your research. If something is too good to be true, it probably is. There are several organizations that vet the legitimacy of online schools’ reputations and you can investigate yours through them. If you don’t find your school on any of the listings, speak to people that are already employed within the public health sector and find out what is acceptable to potential employers.

The most important thing is that you’ve gotten this far. You’re thinking about a career in the Public Health sector and that experience is valuable enough for you to carry anywhere in the world. You’re going to become part of the process that ensures the life, health and well-being of people you know and people you don’t know. Congratulations!

You’ve tried everything to get rid of your neck pain: physical therapy, cortisone shots, prescription pain pills — you name it, you’ve done it. So why does your neck still feel like it’s stuck in a vise that’s being turned tighter and tighter?

Notice that all of the tactics you’ve tried focus on the physical. But what if we told you that while these physical fixes are important steps to ditching neck pain, you’re missing what can be one of the biggest contributors to the pain — your mind?

Here’s where we tell you that your neck pain is at least partly in your head. Not that you’re imagining it — though some doctors have probably told you that when they couldn’t figure out the problem — but that your mind and emotions can be keeping you stuck in pain.

In my Lose the Neck Pain program, I detail the mind-over-matter cures for neck pain. But I wanted to share some of my findings here so you can take the first steps to ditching the hurt for good.

Neck Pain Relief Tip 1: Relax your body and mind to ease neck pain.

Sometimes it’s not what you do to relieve neck pain, but what you don’t do. By that I mean you need to take frequent breaks from the busyness of everyday life to rest and relax — and reduce the painful muscle tension that builds up during a stressful day.

Give your body a break by resting often, even if it’s just to take a 10-minute walk during the workday. Other ways to give your mind and body a much-needed rest include:

* Meditation: Closing your eyes and simply focusing on the breath can help you put your pain in perspective, as well as relax painful muscles. Need help getting into the zone? The Meditation Podcast offers free, guided meditations that you can download to your MP3 player.

* Sleep: Be sure to log enough sleep during the night that you feel well rested; for most people, this is between 6 and 9 hours. Tiredness can make neck pain seem even worse than it is, and can exacerbate tight muscles in the neck. Trouble sleeping try these proven sleep aids.

* Self-hypnosis: To perform self-hypnosis you’ll enter a deep state of relaxation and then use self-suggestion techniques such as affirmations to reduce pain and achieve positive changes in your life. You can find information on how hypnosis for pain relief here. And if you don’t want to go it alone, you can visit a hypnosis practitioner who will walk you through the process.

Neck Pain Relief Tip 2: Set doable goals to reduce neck pain.

Too many people make the mistake of dealing with their neck pain without a plan. It hurts, they put on an ice pack. It hurts again the next day, and they call their doctor. But like anything else in life, banishing neck pain requires you to set goals for getting out of pain and getting your life back — and then to develop a plan that will help you reach those goals.

I go into detail on goal setting in Lose the Neck Pain, but I’d like to share an important aspect of goal-setting that will help you become pain-free: That is, an inspiring goal should be SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely.

Specific: It’s hard to be motivated by a vague goal like “I want to feel better.” So be specific: Do you want to be able to play an hour’s worth of tennis without pain? Do you want your pain to go from a 9 on the pain scale to a 2?

Measurable: If you can measure a goal, you’ll know when you’ve achieved it. The goals we mentioned — being able to play tennis for an hour or reducing pain from a 9 to a 2 — work because you can measure them.

Attainable: A goal needs to be something you can reasonably achieve. Reducing neck pain from a 9 to a 2 overnight: probably not doable. Doing it in three months: Much more realistic.

Relevant: Set goals that mean something to you personally. How does reducing neck pain tie into your life values and passions? For example, if being there for your grandkids is one of your life values, getting rid of neck pain so you can play with them is a relevant goal.

Timely: Putting time limits on your goals, instead of saying you’ll achieve them “someday,” will give you something concrete to strive for.

Neck Pain Relief Tip 3: Educate yourself to find relief from neck pain.

John E. Sarno, MD, a Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at New York University School of Medicine and author of The Divided Mind: The Epidemic of Mindbody Disorders, coined the term Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS) — a condition characterized by pain that seems to have no physical cause, especially in the upper neck, back, and shoulders.

In plain English, that means your neck pain can be caused by your mental state.

TMS experts advise that pain-sufferers write out the issues that might be a source of repressed emotions that can lead to pain — and they also recommend education in the psychological and physical aspects of TMS. This education can include empowering written and audio materials like my Lose the Neck Pain program, which offers both types of materials to help neck pain sufferers no matter what their learning style is.

Neck Pain Relief Tip 4: Banish neck pain by changing your mindset.

I know: It’s hard to keep a positive, relaxed outlook when your neck is killing you. But if you let yourself become overwhelmed with negative feelings and stress, it can keep you from healing the pain.

Stress and negative emotions do two nasty things:

* They create tight muscles that lead to painful muscle imbalances.
* They make you feel hopeless and keep you from taking positive action to reduce your neck pain.

Consider this popular saying: If think you can’t, you’re right; but if you believe you can, you will!” In other words, if you despair that your neck pain will never go away, you’re creating the very conditions that make that thought true. But if you achieve a positive outlook — your neck pain will go away! — you’ll naturally take steps to make it be so.

I discuss the effects of mindset on neck pain in some detail in Lose the Neck Pain. You can also learn how to beat the stress that keeps you in pain with the tips in my blog post My Top 10 Easy Stress Busters.

Also, read more about the power of a positive outlook at the Authentic Happiness website, the homepage of Dr. Martin Seligman, Director of the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania.

Neck Pain Relief Tip 5: Use Lose the Neck Pain for more simple ways to find relief.

The Lose the Neck Pain program tells you what your doctor and physical therapist won’t: the simple tactics — both physical and mental — you can do on your own, in a few minutes per day, to ease the pain.

I believe in a whole-body approach to pain relief, so you’ll get my specific health and mindset tips to help you not only reduce your pain, but also reduce your weight and improve your overall health and fitness in every area.

Yes, it’ll take a few minutes a day — what worthwhile things have you ever accomplished without some kind of effort? — but everything you need to do is simple and easily done right from the comfort of your own home.

My thorough Lose the Neck Pain package consists of 1 DVD, 3 audios, a reference manual, and 90 days of personal support — plus many more bonuses.

What else you get: No long car drives to the doctor, no expensive pain medications — and no more neck pain.

Every person has the right look and feel good. In fact, beauty is a characteristic desired by everybody most particularly women. This is the very reason why every woman tries to make all the efforts they can exert to look beautiful and be seen at their best. And now, here are some quick and easy natural beauty tips which you can do:

Quench Your Thirst: Drink Plenty of Water

This has been stressed for so many times, it is important that you drink at least eight glasses of water everyday, it would even be much better if you can take more than that. It is proven that our cells require water so they could live longer inside, multiply or regenerate, and minimize the effects of cell degeneration. If this is the case, water works like your silent anti oxidant. You have to understand that your body needs to be moisturized inside out. Besides, it will really show if you are healthy from the inside.

Adjust your diet: Eat Plenty of Fruits and Vegetables

Who can question the fact that eating plenty of fruits and vegetables will give you nothing but the best health benefits there can be? Fresh fruits and vegetables are known to be the best diet if you want to treat your body with some detoxification. This is especially true for citrus fruits (vitamins C and E), green leafy vegetables and fibrous fruits and vegetables (cleansing the digestive system). This has been proven a lot of times throughout history starting from the great ancient period until the current generation.

Stretch and Exercise: Let Yourself Perspire

Doing some daily exercise and making a stretch routine will absolutely do something good to your body especially to your bones, muscles and skin. Exercise or stretching literally makes your bones, muscles, and skin stronger than what they currently are. Perhaps you are asking how? The very definition of “elasticity” applies for your skin, while “flexibility” goes to your bones and muscles.

Beauty Rest: Get 8 hours of Sleep

You will definitely look stunning the next day when you enjoy the benefits of enough hours of sleeping.

Essential Vitamins: Take the right dose of Vitamins E and C

If you do not have much time to pick some fresh goods in the market and do yourself a cardio favor, then, you must be practical enough to understand the concept of supplement. Take note, turning your attention to supplement does not necessarily mean that you have to give up your body’s needs to all those little bottled tablets. In case you have to start checking which one to take, remember the top of the list vitamins and/or minerals that will keep your skin glowing with health.

Vitamin E
This tops the list of all vitamins needed by your skin to be healthy. It is a form of antioxidant that helps fight off free radicals and other degenerating factors that can destroy your skin from the bottom up to the surface.

Vitamin C
This is another form of antioxidant that boosts your immune system as well. This vitamin helps speed up the process of healing especially to your skin, thus amino acids are also known to aid in keeping fair looking skin.

Skin and Hair Care: Be mindful of the right products

Use the right shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer and other products to nourish your hair and skin. Discover what could match your skin and hair needs. Moisturize, exfoliate and remove your makeup regularly.

A Must Do: Be Hygienic

This is obviously a natural beauty tip. Brush your teeth and take a bath regularly. You can never hide a stinky breath or a bad body odor all the time. So, it is essential to observe proper hygiene as well as use the right products or toiletries for your body from head to foot.

Right Hairstyle: Get a haircut based on your face shape

What is the shape of your face? Is it oval, square, round, long, heart, etc.? Whatever it is, discover the right haircut that matches your face.

Quick Shopping: Pick the best dress and shoes

It is essential that you know how to match the color of your dress, shoes, bags and accessories. But of course, it must be used at the right occasion and at the right time.

The above-mentioned beauty tips will surely help you achieve the look you want to show.
