Everyone has become used to the most popular computer video games consoles that are so popular around the world. We make comparisons between the three systems and decide which is best based on graphics ability but it is also important to think about the involvement you feel by using the controllers supplied.

We may not think a lot about controllers but there are peaople who spend their lives designing them and here we look at how they compare. We were all impressed with the first Xbox but with it came a controller referred to as the duke controller.

It turned out that Microsoft got it wrong and the Duke was far too large and bulky and it hurt people’s hands. In response they quickly released a different design which was more acceptable to the public and is more like the one now used in the Xbox 360.

The the Xbox 360 version is now the best for comfort in your hand and may be the one which you are happy to play with. The Playstation 3 controller in use today is not as new as it might look.

It is not very different from the familiar one we had with the PS2 with some changes internally. The original PS3 controller was more revolutionary but the new control layout was soon abandoned.

The talk is that it wasn’t as simple and easy to use as the established PS2 controller. The right descision may have been made in the end though there will be many sleepless nights when they release their next games platform.

The PS3 controller does an adequate job but a new system will mean people expect high standards with the control systems in any new games console released. There are fewer customers with spare money these days and it may be we will have to wait some time so we may have to be patient to get what we want.

The most game changing brand is currently the Wii games systems from Nintendo which changed the market. The wii bundle comes with a wiimote and this being very different is nothing like everything you thought you knew about games controls.

Nintendo’s wiimote is such a change than anything we had seen before or had thought about as ways of how we could control the games we like to play. They are more advanced than anything else we have seen introduced on games systems in the last two decades.

Technology sometimes puts cleverness over customer appreciation but here it is great fun for us as gamers and it has the potential to take gaming to a whole new level. The wii and the wii fit bundle proved there are more important features than just the graphics chips used in the Wii but they ignored this game changing controller.

It will be fascinating to discover whatever the eighth generation of and if price is no problem these are the ones to get. Chances are they will all be interactive and who knows what new features they might offer us and give us a whole new era in gaming enjoyment.

Powerful and unapologetically American, the Cadillac Escalade ESV is the Big Kahuna of the Escalade luxury SUV family. Everything about it is massive, from its extended wheelbase to its V8 engine and Bose sound system. Introduced in 2003 as a variant of the regular Escalade suspension, the ESV broadens the Escalade’s appeal by offering the absolute maximum in passenger room and cargo space. The interior comes with finely stitched leather upholstery, airbags, faux wood trim and loads of standard features, including tri-zone automatic climate control, 14-way power and heated front seats, a touchscreen navigation system with a rearview camera and real-time traffic, and a Bose 5.1 surround-sound audio system with 10 speakers and an in-dash CD/DVD changer. There are some low-grade plastics here and there, but in general, the Escalade ESV’s cabin feels suitably upscale for a vehicle with a $60K price tag. In addition, even with all this technology on board, the control layout remains simple and user-friendly.

A second-generation Escalade ESV is now available. It’s about the same size as the first-generation model but features enhanced maneuverability, a larger, more powerful engine and a significantly upgraded interior. For either generation, this big SUV’s appeal lies mainly in its bold attitude and large and luxurious interior. As such, it’s a popular choice for many consumers, though shoppers interested in something a little less ostentatious might prefer one of the ESV’s import-brand competitors. No wonder celebs, athletes and moguls are enticed by the Cadillac Escalade air suspension. Available in a single trim level, the luxury SUV pampers like few vehicles can. It is vast and plush. As the upscale sibling to the Chevrolet Suburban, the identically sized ESV offers three rows of seating and can accommodate up to eight people. To facilitate access to the third row, Cadillac offers an optional power fold-and-flip function for the ESV’s second-row seats. With this kind of seating capability, the Cadillac Escalade ESV is understandably popular with family buyers as well.
